The Revealed Virus
PROBLEM
- The deadly Coronavirus, i.e. COVID-19, is said to have originated from an unknown animal
- What is known so far is that it can get transmitted when an infected person coughs or sneezes, or through some surface which is contaminated with the virus
SYMPTOMS
What is known so far: Fever, cough, tiredness, nasal congestion, runny nose, sore throat or diarrhoea
TREATMENT
- Currently, there are no proved vaccines or treatments for COVID-19
- Scientists around the globe are working hard to find a vaccine to fight the virus, and to that effect have begun testing various drugs

Practice the following
- Obey the orders laid down by the government
- If you’re showing symptoms visit the doctor, quarantine yourself and use a face mask
- Wash your hands regularly or use alcohol-based hand sanitizers
- Avoid close contact with those who are showing symptoms of the virus
The Real Virus
PROBLEM
- SIN – this spiritual virus originated when man disobeyed the commands given by God
- The Bible says in Psalm 51:5, “For I was born a sinner— yes, from the moment my mother conceived me.”
SYMPTOMS
- Telling a lie, stealing, jealousy, evil thoughts, drunkenness, adultery, murder…
- The Bible says in Rom 6:23, “The payment for sin is death…”
- Symptoms of sin have always resulted in eternal death i.e. Hell
TREATMENT
- Only God can save us from this eternal death. Hence, He took the form of a man by being born of a virgin. His name is Jesus Christ
- The Bible says in 1 Pet 2:24, “Christ himself carried our sins in his body to the cross, so that we might die to sin and live for righteousness. It is by his wounds that you have been healed”
The Bible says in 1 John 3:16, “Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he (Jesus) laid down his life for us.” He took upon Himself the punishment of your sins. He was buried and on the third day, He rose again. He can heal you from this spiritual virus.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITY

- Rom 10:9 – If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
- Acknowledge – that you are a sinner and deserving punishment
- Believe – that Lord Jesus died on the cross for my sin and rose again from the dead
- Call – on the Lord to live in your heart and to be the Lord of your life
