This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners. God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. He came to take away the sins of the whole world. The wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life- in Christ Jesus.
We have all sinned and come short of the glory of God. There is none righteous. No not one. There is none that does good and sins not. We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned onto our own way. Because of this, the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all our ungodliness and unrighteousness.
If the Lord kept a record of our sins, who could ever survive? For our sins are piled up before God and testify against us. Yes, we know what sinners we are. For in sin are we conceived, and we drink iniquity like we drink water. There is no one who understands, no one who seeks God. We are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags. We all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.
But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, gave us his Son, Jesus. For when the fullness of the time came, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the Law. He came into the very world he created, for through him all things were made and without him nothing was made that has been made. He did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.
In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, so that we might live through him. There is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. Very rarely for a good person someone might possibly dare to die. But God demonstrates his own love for us in this that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. For while we were still weak, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly.
Jesus himself bore our sins in his body. He was pierced because of our rebellion, crushed because of our iniquities; punishment for our peace was on him. He was delivered over to death for our trespasses and we are healed by his wounds. Surely He took on our infirmities and carried our sorrows. Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many. He gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present wicked world.
God raised him up, because it was not possible for Christ to be held by death. He raised Christ from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms, far above all rule and authority, power and dominion. And God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything. For God has highly exalted him and caused him to sit at His right hand as a Prince and Savior, to give repentance and forgiveness of sins.
Jesus saves and is mighty to save! Everyone who calls on him will be saved. All who comes to him, will in no way be cast out. He commands everyone everywhere to repent of their sins and turn to him. For there is salvation in no one else, and there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. Jesus calls all and says, “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest, Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live”.

Good ministry of apologetics
Wonderful my brothers; I glorify God for the good articles; I am new to this site, but so far, it is good. I am 78 & a “retired” missionary after working in two foreign countries. I am totally against the falsehood of calvinism and arminianism. As for me, the Bible alone is the authority for my life. ARNOLD
