P.M. George, an evangelist born in Adoor, Kerala, converted from a Jacobite background to the Brethren movement. After studying at Kumbanadu Bible School in 1949, he dedicated his life to full-time ministry, focusing on public preaching and establishing the Bethany Brethren Assembly in Adoor. Known for his faith, prayer life, and firm stand on Biblical doctrines, he passed away peacefully on August 5, 1985, at age 64.
